It’s true that it would take a genius to macro manage our entire lives and structure here in the United States. That is a given. The problem is, Most people want to be left alone. We want the freedom to fail. If we do fail, it would be OUR individual fault. Not the gov’ts. The same would be for the one’s who do well in life. People would look at those individuals and think to themselves ‘ hey, HE did it on his/her own, I CAN TOO!’ ( with no unfair advantage ‘entitled’ by the govt.)
People want the chance to say….I did it myself. That is the personal gratification of life. What we have been headed for, for decades is ‘total management of our lives’ by ‘EXPERTS’. ( you know, the one’s we pay for via our taxes)
So if you could at least answer 2 questions, and prove me wrong on every post I have put out there.
1. How would our lives be any better, with MORE govt. ‘management’. ( which means less freedoms
Less independence)
2. How would our lives be any better, with MORE of our ‘take home’ pay going towards funding the
Above statement?
Are you libs so insecure and helpless that you need total control and life management from the govt?
I can see why any liberal would like to see total control of the govt over our lives. I don’t think they have thought it all the way out to the end! Do they realize they will also be ‘included’ in the “pay-for” part of the program? Or do you think it will be just targeted towards the one’s who have vehemently fought it?
You guys (libs) are just looking for guarantees in life, (to which there are none) at someone else’s expense.
Life is a risk. There are no shortcuts or cheating.
The last ‘frontier’ is in our minds. Meaning you want to take away the last thing from us. “A REASON TO GET OUT OF BED IN THE MORNING”

Are liberals born that way? Or do they just hate their parents?
I have to wonder , just when do they ‘turn’?? When they leave the nest, and want to prove to mom and dad that they know nothing…. And Junior knows everything….. (what the hell OLD farts know anyway?)….. They venture out on life’s highway…. With their thumbs in the air.
Along comes Mr. Pimp Liberal. He tells em they can do whatever , whenever, they want to do… oh yes!! You are NOT alone!! I ‘feel your pain’…. together, we can change this world!! (not to fix it of course) But by gawd, you will have your 15 minutes of FAME!!! Junior takes it hook line and sinker. He is Addicted. Loves the POWER!! FEELS important! ‘lets see who we can CONTROL today!’
So, little Junior now is in under the spell of the ‘great one’….behind the curtain. And obediently throws his legs up for anyone with “MONEY”….. ohhhhhh ! Baaabbbby!! I need a ‘fix’!! (lets see what we can extort out of these ‘non conformists’ ) “ I know, if we can’t squeeze em to death, he he, lets MAKE EM suckle the at the ‘golden’ Govt. TIT.” long enough, people will forget their ‘woes’. They will forget how to survive. Our ‘will’ is gone. Common sense is next. Who needs it?? The ‘experts’ will take care of us!
Junior now is high up the chain of command…. His ‘highs’ are the ultimate orgasmic reactions. He looks back with complete satisfaction…… or is it?? ( he looks affectionately at a world globe on a table) and licks his lips….

Our best days behind us? I like to think our best days are yet to come! Since before I was born, the left has been shitting on the Constitution. You brainwashed sheep just keep asking for more!
Today Congress is looking at a European VAT. Value added tax. Wtf, we already have that!! What business (mine included) doesn’t buy inputs, then resell the finished (or at least improved) for a higher price? (God willing). Sales minus purchase price minus expense cost equals ‘taxable gain’. Looks like yet another ‘double taxation’ to me.
For years the left have been pushing and pushing to see how much Govt they can instill on our ‘free’ lives. To you that are addicted to the ‘tit’, life is fine. To us that have to pay for it, both with hard earned cash, and more importantly, FREEDOMS….. We are against a wall, WE are not going to ‘keep running’. WE have turned to face our adversaries. (what did you really expect?) It is US that is drawing a line in the sand.
You say the ideals of Limbaugh and Beck are harmful to Amerika. (you are right)
We are pushing back to RECLAIM AMERICA!
We don’t care if they are Dem, Repub or whatever breed of ape, This ’roughing up’ now is just one way to show them that WE are sick and tired of getting run flat, and will hold them accountable. This time was destined to happen, Obama was just the unlucky bastard to be in office at the time. (although he did put the final nails in the coffin)

The last few months have been a blur!
well, things in Washington have certainly gone to hell, with no end in sight. I have 'discovered' the Glenn Beck program, ( I just got a satellite dish). I cant help but think that with the coverage on tv, the internet, (forget most newspapers) that we can band together and stop the hemmorhaging It's going to get ugly before it gets better. I have found 'friends' online, being out in the middle of nowhere.... I like interacting with politcal friends and foes.
While I wont have a computer full of 'links' to back up my every statement, I do think (hopefully) I might just have a take on a few things.
I have a son who is going to re-deploy next week. 3rd tour to Afghanistan. Mr. Obama, for crissakes, either SHIT or get off the pot. My God man, get an objective to your generals, and get the hell out of their way. We have spent the time and money to train these fine young people, have built the machinery. This halfway in bullshit has to stop. Our Boys are ready to go. You are not sending a very good message to the rest of the world.
Either go in will ALL the torches lit, or get OUT.. havent you learned anything from history?

Howdy from grass country, USA
Hey everyone, and welcome to my blog!! Out here on the range for the last 30 years or so, have given me some time to think about things. Would like to share some of my life with you!! My thoughts on local , state, federal , and some world issues will pop up from time to time, and how they effect my life, and my business.
I am a 47 year old male, and have 3 children. One is married with kids of her own, yes, grandpa is a name I still look over my shoulder at! My next one in line is serving his country as his hitch with the Marine Corps is about halfway done. My latest is just 6 now, kinda our 'oops' baby.
I own and operate a cow/calf operation. This type of ranch is where I own the mother cows, and God willing, produce a calf once a year. After the calves are weaned in the fall, I
'background' them for about 100 days. Backgrounding is where I get them ready for their new owners, who will feed them out to harvest weight.
First, a little bout me. I am a conservative guy, not because dad required it, ha ha, but from necessity. With all the problems in the world, I have weather, health issues in the cattle,
market conditions, consumer worries, global trade influences........... Lets just say margin for profit, well, is slim even when things are 'rosey'
I Didnt vote for this current admistration, I am very concerned about the boat load of money being spent. Who is gonna pay this all back??? Like I've been saying in Youtube posts, "The Storm Is Coming" !! (remember the 'stampede' when all those banks failed last fall and winter??) Imagine the true effects of throwing 800 billion to the wind (with no collateral to back it)...........Now, who knows what the proposed 'health care' package is gonna cost us!!
yes people, US!! hmmmm maybe it would be better not to live forever anyway with this over our heads. I shudder for the generations to come. ugg.
Over the years, paying federal, state and local taxes, I have noticed that even though the tax has continued to go up, quality of life, or govt. sponsored programs have actually lessened.
Sure, seems like there is more 'problems' to fix these days, but dagnabbit, aren't these the same ol problems that have been around since the beginning of time?
Liberals seem hell bent on fixing problems that most could be 'fixed' at home.... Individuals are getting lazy. Looking for a way to 'skate' through life. Cant afford health insurance??? well hell I cant most years. I pay cash for services reqd. It hurts me financially, sure. And am well aware that it could wipe me out. That is life... it's a risk we take everyday.
I could get run flat by a bull, hit by lightning, run over by a drunk driver.
Does the govt. require me to wear a seatbelt? Yes.
Does the govt. require me to wear protection when working the cattle? No. (not yet)
sure, they do pretty well keepin the drunks off the road.
I wonder if this new health care package has guidelines for worker safety?? I bet there will be!!
I wonder if the Founding Fathers knew how bad things would get.......
It was said the Constitution wouldnt work, unless there were morals.
I have thought for years that 'we have too much govt. too many rules, too many laws'
Then it hit me awhile back. Without morals, we need laws! Can you imagine the state of affairs here??? Pretty sure our population wouldnt be 300 million now. People would be dead left and right!
I do believe in the 'Right to bear Arms' as well as all our 'rights'.
I Have the utmost respect for our responsibility of owning firearms.
But, I have problems with the anti gun crowd, their arguments are so so thin. 'too easy to commit a crime' too easy to kill someone.....
There are tons of ways to do this without firearms. Remember awhile back, some brick throwing thing in LA? hmmmmm
I dont believe in gay rights. That is a lifestyle choice. Not a guaranteed 'right' as afforded in our bill of rights. If people want to live that way, it's their choice.
But PLEASE dont force it down my throat. Or my Children's.
...how can such a small percentage of people have such a large influence in our lives??
It's not natural, something has gone very very wrong here.
FREEDOM! such a delicate word. what does it mean here in the USA??
We have the Freedom to burn the Flag. Expression. Is it right? I dont think so. That flag represents one of the freedoms which allows it.
Kinda like what came first....the chicken or the egg!!
Out here in the sticks, dont get too much gossip about whats hot in Washington. So I try to listen to Rush Limbaugh from time to time, Fox news seems to question everything. Ol Rush is my 'watchdog'. Sure, he is an entertainer, not a politition. I understand his humor, he's a hoot!
Been a typical summer here, not quite enough rain to call it above average, but probably enough to 'get by'.
Starting to mow prairie hay this week. Prairie hay is the wild grass still common here. Had a bad week last week trying to finish up alfalfa... Just enough rain to slow curing....not enough to really do any good..
All the hay is put into large round bales. They weigh about 1800 pounds. That is what I feed the cows in the winter when the snow covers the ground. That bale of hay will feed about 50 cows for one day, depending on how cold it is!!! I feed about 6-7 bales a day.
I am new to blogging, and will add pics and some videos from time to time. I have some video picked out on youtube in therancherman61 channel. Some are silly, some are political (of which I either agree or disagree with) some I like because they are a hobby I might like to pursure some day!!
If anyone has any requests they would like to post, let me know!!
